What is God calling you for?

Saturday's speakers where great! I think, even though both of them didn't know each other, both had a similar theme of listening to God and finding out what God is calling each of us to do. For many of us, through our first times doing a prayer vigil in front of an abortion facility, we found out that God is calling us to stand up for life!

Are you using your talents?

Many of us heard today the Gospel reading about the Master giving out Talents to his servants (Mt. 25:14-30). So, the question becomes how are we using our Talents? I know that I have many times done like the one who, being afraid, hides his talent to make sure it is safe. And when you think about it, coming out to pray in front of the abortion mill doesn't require a great ability but courage and not being afraid. Do not be afraid! Let's go out and stand up for life!

Just be There!

Today was the second time I've being back at the vigil site.  It is very different standing there not knowing if anyone else is going to show up.

I did get to witness an African American couple walking out of PP.  I could tell by the way she was walking that she just had an abortion.  I just didn't know what to say...

A little later, I saw a young girl heading towards the Focus Pregnancy Help Center door.  Turns out she wanted to get a pregnancy test.  It turned out negative.  She also told me she had been to PP before but I didn't ask what for (I'm new at this!).  I did tell her to avoid PP.  Please pray for her.

Welcome!!!

Here we are after our 40 Days for Life campaign here in Rochester! We have a desire to stay connected and keep a prayerful presence in front of the abortion mill to continue to bring God's love and mercy to all who go in and out of the place. We'll be using this Blog to help communicate all the Pro-life activities taking place here in Rochester, NY.; and to keep you informed of what's going on at 114 University Ave.

Let us know what you would like to see posted here. Also, spread the word about our presence.
